Image Watermark

Image Watermark adds a customisable text watermark to your photos, controlling font, size, opacity, colour, rotation, and placement, to assert ownership and deter unauthorised reuse before you share them.

It's worth being realistic about what a watermark achieves: it deters casual copying and signals ownership, but a small corner mark can be cropped or edited out by someone determined. The defence scales with how you apply it, a larger, semi-transparent, or tiled mark across the image is much harder to remove cleanly, which is why proofs, samples, and stock previews use tiling.

Opacity is the key balance, with around 30–50% usually right: visible enough to protect, faint enough not to ruin the image. Too faint invites removal; too opaque obscures the photo you're trying to showcase.
