Unlock PDF

Unlock PDF removes password protection and permission restrictions from PDFs you're entitled to open, producing a clean, unrestricted copy you can edit, print, and copy freely. It's the everyday fix for documents that are needlessly locked down for your own use.

It's important to be clear about what it does and doesn't do: it lifts permission (owner) restrictions and can remove an open password when you supply it, but it does not crack or bypass an unknown open password. The purpose is regaining full access to your own files, not defeating encryption you aren't authorised to access.
